Better Days

I think the title goes great with how I'm feeling also the weather outside.  Its been rainy and cold the last few days and its suppose to continue like this for the next few days.  Its May where is the sun!! ohh well I found an outfit that fits the day.

Snowpocalypse

Anyone hear about that big snow storm that crossed the north-east?  Well I got hit by some of that.  Where I live got hit by more sleet then snow but it did shut down a lot of stuff for a day, my university not being one of those things but my professor did cancel class anyways.  I'd say we got about 4 inches, but we did already have 4-6 inches on the ground already. 

I got excited about the snow.  I'm one of those weird people that loves snow!  I just love to watch it fall and everything being covered in it.  I also like to play in it :).  I may be 21 but I'm a kid at heart.  I finally got my nephew who is 4 to go sledding and my sister-in-law came to.  I took a few pix on my phone from our small sledding adventure.

We took it old school.  :))  Funny story about these sleds.  We show up to the hill and there were a bunch of kids there.  We walk over to the hill and some kid looks at me and asks "what is that?" I respond "its a sled what does it look like!"  then I laughed and said "this sled is prob older then you, heck its prob older then me."  I think we had an audience when we went down.

I love your nail polish

Lets face it every girl has her weakness.  For some girls its shoes, some dresses, some makeup.... well mine is nail polish.  I'm obsessed. 

But lets talk about just nails for a second.  I usto chew my nails (well I guess I still do just not as much).  But I found some ways to quit chewing them so I could have beautiful natural nails.

You just need to take care of your nails.  I like to keep a nail file on me at all times, this way when I get a sharp edge I can just file it down otherwise I will chew on it.  Also I like to keep my nails all about the same length... so if I have one that breaks I clip them all.  And about them cuticles.. push them back and clip them if needed.

 And finally nail harder.  It really does work.  This is my favorite, its called Rock Hard and I get mine at Sally's.  I put a coat of this on before my nail polish.

Now on to the polish!! Like I said I'm obsessed.  Sometimes I have to avoid just looking at it in stores or I will buy some.  Now im in college and don't have very much money so right now my collection isnt very big but I have alot of good colors. 

To me its not very many only 32... but my friends would disagree with me.  As you can see I'm not picky about brand tho my favorites are O.P.I. and Sally Hansen.

Doo Wops and Hooligans

Inspiration and current obsession.  Bruno Mars is simply amazing in my eyes.  Not only do I think he is beautiful but I'm in love with his fashion and music style and of course his voice!  He has recently released his first full solo record.  Its called Doo Wops and Hooligans and even tho I don't own it (yet) I have heard most the songs and I'm in love!  Currently my favorite song is titled Runaway Baby hence the inspiration for my blog name.  Its an upbeat tune that keeps you rocking the whole time.  Other favorite tunes are Marry Me which was featured in a Glee episode a few weeks ago, a reggae style song Liquor Store Blues featuring Damian Marly and the smash radio hit Grenade.  I simply love his music it has a 1950's feel to it and I LOVE 1950's music! I'm just hoping that his next album is the same style.
